  A RESOLUTION
  Honoring Nathan Attisano on placing first at the 2026        1
  Division III State Wrestling Championships.  2
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly    3
of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Nathan Attisano as the 2026        4
Division III State Wrestling Champion in the 132-pound weight class;     5
and  6
     WHEREAS, Nathan Attisano is worthy of acknowledgement for his       7
outstanding ability and spirited drive, as well as his quickness and     8
tenacity, which have distinguished him as a superior athlete and a       9
standout member of the Legacy Christian Academy wrestling team. In       10
winning a state title for a third consecutive year, he has gained the    11
admiration and respect of all those who have witnessed him in action;    12
and  13
     WHEREAS, Few sports embody the spirit of individual  14
accomplishment more than wrestling, and athletes such as Nathan  15
Attisano exemplify the qualities necessary for excellence in any  16
sport, including discipline, agility, conditioning, and focus. Indeed,   17
throughout long hours of competition, he has consistently demonstrated   18
the talent and motivation that are the hallmarks of a true champion;     19
and  20
     WHEREAS, In an educational system that seeks to teach the future    21
leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and    22
the rewards of individual effort, high school athletic competition has   23
become a valuable tool. Through his participation in sports, Nathan      24
Attisano has learned lessons of perseverance, hard work, and fair and    25
honest competition that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to him      26
throughout his lifetime; therefore be it  27

As Adopted by the Senate
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General     28
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Nathan  29
Attisano on his outstanding performance in state competition and  30
extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further  31
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly  32
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Nathan Attisano.  33
