ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE ART OF CANDY MAKING.

ITS ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE ART OF CANDY
MAKING.
WHEREAS, Kopper Kettle Candies is a beloved Arkansas candymaker with
locations in Van Buren and Fort Smith, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Kopper Kettle Candies was established in 1925 and has been a
staple of the Arkansas River Valley for over one hundred (100) years; and
WHEREAS, Kopper Kettle Candies has been a family-owned business for
three (3) generations; and
WHEREAS, Kopper Kettle Candies continues to craft high-quality
chocolates, molded candies, and seasonal specialties with the same dedication
to craftsmanship that has defined the business for over one hundred (100)
years; and
WHEREAS, Kopper Kettle Candies was honored as the number one (1) candy
store in Arkansas and the number five (5) candy store in the United States,
according to a recent nationwide ranking published by the culinary and travel
website LoveFood.com; and

WHEREAS, the LoveFood.com ranking praised the top-ranking stores,
including Kopper Kettle Candies, for their nostalgic charm and artisanal
confections; and
WHEREAS, the prestigious ranking evaluated candy shops across the
United States and highlighted establishments that offer exceptional quality,
deep community ties, and a unique customer experience; and
WHEREAS, third-generation owner Thomas Greer said of the ranking, "We
are incredibly honored and humbled by this national recognition. This
milestone is a testament to our hardworking team who pour their hearts into
every batch of candy, and to our wonderful customers in Van Buren, Fort
Smith, and beyond who have supported our family business for over one hundred
(100) years. We carry our sweet history with pride, and we are thrilled to
put Arkansas on the map as a top destination for candy lovers.",
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:
THAT the House of Representatives congratulate Kopper Kettle Candies
for its national recognition as the top candy store in Arkansas and as the
top fifth candy store in the United States.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be
presented to Thomas Greer by the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives.
