18WHEREAS, the Joe T. Robinson High School Senators football team won the
19 2025 Class 5A state championship held on December 6, 2025, at War Memorial
20 Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas; and
21
22WHEREAS, the Senators won the championship game by besting the Lakeside
23 High School Rams with a score of thirty-four to nineteen (34-19) during the
24 Senators' first year in Class 5A; and
25
26WHEREAS, with their championship victory, the Senators won their fourth
27 state championship in program history of five (5) finals appearances; and
28
29WHEREAS, the Senators completed the season with a perfect season record
30 of fourteen wins and zero losses (14-0), a program first; and
31
32WHEREAS, the Senators team members were Kyrin Grimes, Tank Reese, Deuce
33 Williams, Braylyn Brown, Hakim Frampton, Jaiden Todd, Kaylon Norwood, Charles
34 Petty, Damon Salley, Aaron McAdory, Jackson Redman, Reece Simpson, Matthew
35 Moka, Aaron Freeman, Brent Mooney, Lennox Campos, Jake Whitten, Josiah

12      WHEREAS, Senators team member Hakim Frampton was named Most Valuable
13 Player of the 2025 Class 5A state championship; and

15      WHEREAS, Senators team members Deuce Williams, Tank Reese, Deminio
16 Patterson, Hakim Frampton, Kyrin Grimes, Caleb Smith, Lennox Campos, and
17 Jackson Redman earned All-State honors; and
18
19      WHEREAS, the Senators were led by Head Coach Tyler Uptergrove,
20 Assistant Head Coach and Running Back Coach Jeff Risner, Offensive
21 Coordinator Tye Brown, Co-Defensive Coordinator, Front Six, Benjamin Shields,
22 Co-Defensive Coordinator, Secondary, Trent Dunn, Offensive Line Coach Jordan
23 Driver, Wide Receivers Coach Casey Cross, Wide Receivers Coach DeWayne
24 Frampton, Tight Ends and H-Backs Coach Darrelle White, Defensive Line Coach
25 Rodney Bolden, Defensive Line Coach Keilan Patterson, Safeties Coach Adam
26 Ackin, Corners Coach Tonda Bullock, Offense Assistant Coach Tra James, and
27 Defense Assistant Coach Isaac Dulaney; and

29      WHEREAS, Senators Head Coach Tyler Uptergrove has been with the team as
30 an assistant coach for fifteen (15) years, and the 2025 season was his first
31 year as head coach; and
32
33      WHEREAS, Senators Head Coach Tyler Uptergrove was honored with the 2025
34 Farm Bureau Insurance Awards 5A Coach of the Year award for his performance
35 during the 2025 football season; and

1      WHEREAS, Senators Head Coach Tyler Uptergrove said of the team and
2 season, "What a year! So proud of our kids and coaches. Started the process
3 332 days ago. Through all the blood, sweat, sprains and broken bones, they
4 competed for one another. Most resilient group of kids I’ve ever coached. To
5 my seniors, I love you and appreciate everything you gave to this program.
6 You set the standard for our program and the classes that follow you. Can’t
7 wait to see what you do next in life!",

9 NOW THEREFORE,
10 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
11 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

13      THAT the House of Representatives recognize the Joe T. Robinson High
14 School Senators football team as the 2025 Class 5A state champions.
15
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be
17 presented to Head Coach Tyler Uptergrove by the Chief Clerk of the House of
18 Representatives.
