                   IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
                                          July 14, 2026
       To confirm the appointment of Gregory McCarthy to the District of Columbia Board of
Elections.
        RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the “District of Columbia Board of Elections Gregory McCarthy
Confirmation Resolution of 2026”.
       Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:
                                      Gregory McCarthy
                                       Riggs Street, NW
                                     Washington, DC 20009
                                           (Ward 2)
as a member of the District of Columbia Board of Elections, established by section 3 of the
District of Columbia Election Code of 1955, approved August 12, 1955 (69 Stat. 699; D.C.
Official Code § 1-1001.03), for a term to end July 7, 2027.
      Sec. 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
nominee and to the Mayor.
       Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
