  A RESOLUTION
  Honoring the Lorain Rotary Club on its Centennial.  1
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly    2
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Lorain Rotary Club on the        3
auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary, celebrated May     4
9, 2026; and  5
     WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting     6
tribute to the Lorain Rotary Club, for it has attained a remarkable      7
record of service to the area. Since its inception in 1926, this  8
association has exemplified the values of volunteerism, service, and     9
civic engagement, and clearly, its accomplishments are a justifiable     10
source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the group      11
itself but also on its dedicated members, both past and present, on      12
the community, and on its parent organization; and  13
     WHEREAS, Over the past century, the Lorain Rotary Club has  14
enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area, and through    15
its generous contributions, it has earned the respect and gratitude of   16
generations of people. We are certain that as this noteworthy  17
organization maintains its unfaltering commitment, it will continue in   18
the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; and  19
     WHEREAS, We are proud to note that it is through the unceasing      20
efforts of entities such as the Lorain Rotary Club that Ohio has  21
gained a reputation as a state that is responsive to the needs of its    22
citizens and has remained a pleasant place in which to live and work.    23
This fine group is truly deserving of high praise; therefore be it       24
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General   25
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Lorain        26
Rotary Club on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes      27

for ongoing success; and be it further  28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly  29
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Lorain Rotary Club.  30
