Document has been reformatted to meet World Wide Web specifications.)A house RESOLUTIONto recognize and honor Sergeant Major John WesleyFulton, Retired, of Clarendon County and to express gratitude for hisdedication to the Manning community.Whereas, the members ofthe South Carolina House of Representatives are deeply appreciative of thededication that John Fulton has provided to Manning and the surrounding area,serving as a pillar of strength, a mentor, and a guide; andWhereas, with demonstrablecompassion, integrity, and commitment, he has served as a coach and assistantcoach for the Manning Junior High School basketball team, helping to lead youngathletes to several championships while instilling discipline, teamwork, andcharacter into the lives of countless students; andWhereas, Sergeant MajorFulton has positively impacted generations of young people, encouraging them topursue productive and purposeful lives. He and his family initiated the JohnWesley Fulton Scholarship Fund offered every year to students who show academicpromise and are willing to write an essay describing why they feel that theydeserve the scholarship; andWhereas, beyondathletics, Sergeant Major Fulton has remained deeply involved in communityservice, devoting his personal time to assisting elderly residents, disabledindividuals, and citizens living on fixed incomes by cutting lawns andproviding support wherever needed; andWhereas, a faithfulmember of The Masters Place Ministries, he serves the congregation as a deacon andprovides spiritual guidance, encouragement, and support to individuals andfamilies throughout the community during difficult times; andWhereas, Sergeant MajorFulton serves as the president of the Tri-County Corvette Club. Under hisleadership, the organization actively donates both time and financial supportto critically ill individuals and families in need. The club regularlyorganizes Corvette drive-through events at the homes of those facing seriousillnesses, bringing encouragement, hope, and joy during challenging times. Theclub provides donations to assist with medical expenses and other miscellaneousneeds for struggling families within the community; andWhereas, the SouthCarolina House of Representatives is deeply grateful for the impact of JohnFulton's service, uplifting lives in the community, mentoring youth, and supportingcountless individuals and families through the years.
