A house RESOLUTION
TO RECOGNIZE AND
HONOR WILLIAM HEWITT "WITT" MITCHELL FOR HIS EXEMPLARY SERVICE AS A PAGE TO THE
SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SINCE 2024 AND TO COMMEND HIM FOR HIS
WILLINGNESS TO SERVE AS ACTING READING CLERK IN THE ABSENCE OF THE DISTINGUISHED
JAMES L. MANN "BUBBA" CROMER.
Whereas, William Hewitt
"Witt" Mitchell has served with distinction as a page for the South Carolina
House of Representatives since 2024 and was selected to serve as acting reading
clerk in the absence of Mr. James L. Mann "Bubba" Cromer; and
Whereas, through his
dedication, professionalism, and enthusiasm for the institution of South
Carolina state government, Witt has demonstrated exemplary character,
leadership, and commitment to public service; and
Whereas, his strong
work ethic, respect for the legislative process, and willingness to assume
additional responsibilities reflect great credit upon himself, his family, and
the South Carolina House of Representatives; and
Whereas, the members of
the House of Representatives desire to publicly recognize and commend Witt for
his outstanding contributions and faithful service to the people of this State.
Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the
South Carolina House of Representatives,
by this resolution, recognize and honor William Hewitt "Witt" Mitchell for his exemplary
service as a page to the South Carolina House of Representatives since 2024 and
commend him for his willingness to serve as acting reading clerk in the absence
of the distinguished James L. Mann "Bubba" Cromer.
Be it further resolved
that a copy of this resolution be presented to William Hewitt "Witt" Mitchell.
