SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 190

A RESOLUTION
To commend and congratulate Dr. Jasper Roper Jr. for fifty years of faithful and
distinguished service to Christian Bible College and to recognize the golden jubilee
of Christian Bible College and its longstanding commitment to biblical education,
spiritual leadership, and service to the community.
WHEREAS, Dr. Jasper Roper Jr. has served Christian Bible College with
unwavering commitment, dedication, and distinction for fifty years, demonstrating steadfast
devotion to the institution's vision and ministry; and
WHEREAS, Christian Bible College was founded in 1976 with the mission of
"Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth", providing biblical instruction, spiritual formation, and
Christian leadership grounded in faith and service; and
WHEREAS, the impact of Christian Bible College is felt throughout the community
through fulfillment of its mission: "Reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ"; and
WHEREAS, Christian Bible College has reached the historic milestone of its golden
jubilee, marking fifty years of continuous service as a pillar of faith, education, and spiritual
enrichment within the community; and
WHEREAS, throughout his tenure as president of Christian Bible College, Dr. Jasper
Roper Jr. has exemplified exceptional leadership, wisdom, integrity, and dedication and has
contributed significantly to the institution's growth, success, and enduring legacy; and
WHEREAS, for fifty years, Dr. Jasper Roper Jr. has served as a spiritual leader and
role model to faculty, staff, students, pastors, and members of the broader faith community,
fostered a culture of excellence, faith, and biblical guidance and led Christian Bible College
to the historic milestone of its golden jubilee.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend and congratulate Dr. Jasper Roper Jr. for fifty years of outstanding,
unwavering, and dedicated service to Christian Bible College and does hereby congratulate
Christian Bible College upon the celebration of its golden jubilee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to Dr.
Jasper Roper Jr.
