A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Tayvian D. Allen; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Tayvian D. Allen is an exceptional student leader, aspiring legal professional,
devout minister, and exemplary public servant who has distinguished himself through his
dedication to scholarship, leadership, and service; and
WHEREAS, Tayvian D. Allen began his public service career with the Ascension Parish
Sheriff's Office Community Outreach Division, where he mentored local youth, coordinated
outreach initiatives, supported community engagement programs, and helped promote
positive relationships between law enforcement and the citizens they serve; and
WHEREAS, he further demonstrated his commitment to effective government through
service with Ascension Parish Government, where he assisted the Purchasing Department,
maintained operational records, and contributed to collaborative efforts that enhanced
organizational efficiency and accountability; and
WHEREAS, his passion for public policy and legislative affairs led him to serve with the
Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, where he assisted members during legislative sessions,

prepared summaries of legislation, facilitated discussions on public policy issues, supported
constituent communications, and helped coordinate outreach and educational initiatives; and
WHEREAS, Tayvian D. Allen has additionally distinguished himself through service to the
Georgia State Senate as chief of staff to Senator Michael Rhett, conducting legislative
research, assisting with policy development, drafting speeches and official communications,
coordinating stakeholder engagement, managing office operations, and supporting the
legislative process from bill development through final consideration; and
WHEREAS, in addition to his professional service, he has remained actively engaged in
civic and community organizations, including the Donaldsonville Rotary Club and the
National Society of Collegiate Scholars; and
WHEREAS, through his outstanding record of academic achievement, public service,
faith-based leadership, and dedication to the pursuit of justice and civic engagement, Tayvian
D. Allen has established himself as a young leader of great promise who is befitting of
formal recogition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
recognize and commend Tayvian D. Allen for his outstanding achievements, exemplary
leadership, and dedicated service as well as extend sincere best wishes for continued success
in all his future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Tayvian D. Allen.
