                                A RESOLUTION
1 Recognizing and commending RAHBI for his outstanding contributions to the arts, culture,
2 and the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.
3 WHEREAS, RAHBI is a dynamic and innovative musical artist whose work embodies
4 sophistication, boldness, and genre-defying creativity, earning him recognition as a true
5 original in the modern music landscape; and
6 WHEREAS, a proud native of Atlanta, RAHBI began his professional journey as a member
7 of the 1990s boy band 4th Avenue under LaFace Records, laying the foundation for a career
8 marked by artistic excellence and evolution; and
9 WHEREAS, he further honed his craft while touring internationally with Donnie, a Motown
10 Records recording artist, gaining global exposure and deepening his impact as a performer;
11 and
12 WHEREAS, since embarking on his solo career, RAHBI has emerged as one of Atlanta's
13 most sought-after independent artists, captivating audiences with electrifying performances
14 on renowned stages such as AFROPUNK and the historic Apollo Theater, as well as venues
15 throughout Europe; and

16 WHEREAS, his artistry has garnered acclaim from influential cultural icons including
17 Janelle Monáe and Erykah Badu, affirming his position as a powerful and respected voice
18 in contemporary music; and
19 WHEREAS, as the founder of "STRANGE," Atlanta's premier live music concert series,
20 RAHBI has created a platform that celebrates individuality, fosters community, and
21 champions creative freedom for emerging and established artists alike; and
22 WHEREAS, beyond the stage, RAHBI continues to uplift and inspire through his leadership
23 and service as Music Director at Temple of God Church in East Atlanta, the Black Acting
24 Methods Studio in West Midtown, and with True Colors Theatre Company under the
25 direction of Kenny Leon, as well as contributing to Paramount Pictures television
26 productions; and
27 WHEREAS, RAHBI's work transcends music, transforming it into a movement that uplifts,
28 empowers, and encourages all individuals to embrace their authentic selves unapologetically.
29 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
30 the members of this body recognize and commend RAHBI for his exceptional talent, cultural
31 impact, and unwavering commitment to artistic expression and community empowerment.
32 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
33 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to
34 RAHBI.
