A house RESOLUTION
to honor and recognize Aristidis "Harry"
Anagnostaras-Adams, executive chairman of KEFI Gold and Copper Programmable
Logic Controller (PLC), for his transformative work in global mining and
finance.
Whereas, the members of
the South Carolina House of Representatives are pleased to commend Aristidis
Anagnostaras-Adams, whose visionary leadership and professional achievements
have made a profound impact on the development of global mining and finance;
and
Whereas, Mr.
Anagnostaras-Adams has dedicated his career to bridging international capital
with African industrialization; and
Whereas, a former
chartered accountant and top-tier Master of Business Administration graduate, Mr.
Anagnostaras-Adams spent two decades with the founding family of Brake Horsepower
(BHP), before spearheading KEFI's expansion. His leadership is defined by a "future-building"
philosophy that emphasizes transparency and shareholder-aligned growth; and
Whereas, KEFI's
flagship Tulu Kapi Gold project in Ethiopia stands as his most significant
milestone, recently securing a US $340 million financing package. This project
is widely recognized for its adherence to rigorous environmental, social, and
technical governance (ESG) standards, serving as a regional blueprint for
responsible resource extraction. By modernizing mining infrastructure in
Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia, he has provided a tangible path for industrial
self-reliance; and
Whereas, Mr.
Anagnostaras-Adams is a champion of multicultural integration in business. His
ability to navigate the complexities of international bear markets while
maintaining unwavering standards has helped restore global investor confidence
in African mining. His work continues to catalyze secondary economic
development in local communities, creating jobs and fostering long-term
regional economic stability. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the
South Carolina House of Representatives,
by this resolution, honor and recognize Aristidis "Harry" Anagnostaras-Adams,
executive chairman of KEFI Gold and Copper Programmable Logic Controller (PLC),
for his transformative work in global mining and finance.
Be it further resolved
that a copy of this resolution be presented to Aristidis Anagnostaras-Adams.
