A senate RESOLUTION
TO RECOGNIZE August 13, 2026, AS "Mrs. Felicia
Douglas Littlejohn DAY" IN SOUTH CAROLINA and to commend Mrs. littlejohn for
her extraordinary TWENTY-FIVE-year career promoting financial literacy,
economic empowerment, civic leadership, and the well-being of the Greenville
community.
Whereas, Mrs. Felicia
Douglas Littlejohn is an investment advisor representative, a national social
security advisor designee, and the principal and CEO of Legacy Financial
Advisors, a financial services firm headquartered in Greenville; and
Whereas, Mrs.
Littlejohn has spent more than two decades educating and empowering individuals
and families across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. She began her
financial education work through her local church and faith-based community and
has grown Legacy Financial Advisors into a trusted multi-state practice; and
Whereas, over the
years, Mrs. Littlejohn has received many awards and achieved many milestones,
including being recognized as a 2026 Women History Maker, 2023 National Top
Advisor, 2020 Women Business Leader in Wealth Management, and has been featured
in Forbes Advisors Advocates, television segments, and regional radio. She is one
of the first women and women of color to become a member of the Million Dollar
Roundtable, a premier organization of financial assistance and life insurance
professionals; and
Whereas, on August 13,
2026, Mrs. Littlejohn will be celebrated at a milestone event honoring twenty-five
years of financial service to the community and celebrating the global
publication of her debut book, The Season of Yes: A Guide to Embracing the
Journey to Retirement Joy, Purpose, and Prosperity. The event, which is themed
Twenty-five Years of Yes, will bring together clients, community leaders,
business partners, and families from across the Upstate. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the
South Carolina Senate, by this resolution,
recognize August 13, 2026, as "Mrs. Felicia Douglas Littlejohn Day" in South
Carolina and commend Mrs. Littlejohn for her extraordinary twenty-five-year
career promoting financial literacy, economic empowerment, civic leadership,
and the well-being of the Greenville community.
Be it further resolved
that a copy of this resolution be presented to Mrs. Felicia Douglas Littlejohn.
