Document has been reformatted to meet World Wide Web specifications.)A house RESOLUTIONTO RECOGNIZE IRMO INSURANCE AGENCY AT THECELEBRATION OF ITS FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF SERVICE IN SOUTH CAROLINA AND TOCONGRATULATE THE COMPANY ON A HALF-CENTURY OF SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS ENDEAVORS INTHIS GREAT STATE.Whereas, the SouthCarolina House of Representatives is pleased to learn that the Irmo InsuranceAgency is celebrating the business's half-century mark in 2026; andWhereas, the agency wasfounded on September 14, 1976, by Robin McIntyre Moseley with the advice andencouragement of Reaves H. Gasque and Leslie W. Clemmons. Robin's husband,Charles Robert "Bob" Moseley, left a nineteen-year career in banking to join herat the agency in 1979. Although the elder Moseleys are retired now, theirfounding influence is still felt in the leadership of their son, Scott Moseley,who joined the agency in 1992 and currently serves as agency president; andWhereas, Bob and Robinconceived the idea of starting an independent insurance agency through theexperience of Robin's mother, who worked with the Gasque-Clemmons Agency inMarion; andWhereas, after fivedecades of service, Irmo Insurance continues to emphasize customer servicewhile providing insurance options for small businesses, life, health, home, andauto coverage. A proud member of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokersof South Carolina, this family-owned agency writes insurance all over SouthCarolina and is also licensed in North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee; andWhereas, appreciativeof its contributions to the prosperity of the Palmetto State, the House ofRepresentatives takes great pleasure in honoring Irmo Insurance Agency on theoccasion of the business's fiftieth anniversary, and the members extend bestwishes for much continued success in the years to come.
