Veterans can get help with housing, job training at this free event

Bill Taber has been cutting hair and preparing tax returns on the west side of Indianapolis since 1959. During one of the final days of operation before retirement, Friday, April 12, 2024, business continues as usual.

The Veteran Stand Down is hosted by The Bros Foundation , a new nonprofit that also helps people after incarceration.

The event, which is open to all veterans, will be at Broadway United Methodist Church, 609 E. 29th St.
