MANCHESTER, N.H. – In a sign of the growing momentum behind Stefany Shaheen’s campaign for Congress, former progressive rival in the Democratic primary Christian Urrutia is endorsing her, citing Stefany’s commitment to take bold action for New Hampshire families.
“I am proud to endorse Stefany Shaheen for Congress. I entered this race because I believe the American Dream must be renewed for a new generation and Stefany is in the strongest position to make that happen. This has become a two person race and Stefany is the candidate committed to fighting for Medicare for All, protecting New Hampshire communities from data centers, and stopping the endless supply of bombs and taxpayer dollars to Netanyahu,” said Christian Urrutia. “Campaigns end. Causes endure. I urge all those who share my belief in these causes to join me in voting for Stefany Shaheen. The American Dream is still ours to renew for families in New Hampshire and across the country.”
“From day one of this campaign, Christian has been a voice for change and I am thrilled to have his endorsement and support. Together, we are building a movement to put a stop to Trump’s corruption, fix health care, and bring down costs for working families,” said Stefany Shaheen. “Just as important as taking back the House is what Democrats do with a majority. This campaign is of, by and for the people of New Hampshire, and I will fight tirelessly to deliver bold reform and desperately needed change for our communities, small businesses, and families.”
Momentum continues to build for Stefany Shaheen’s campaign for Congress in the final days before the September 8th primary. Former Congresswoman Shea-Porter endorsed Stefany Shaheen yesterday. She has earned the support of six major New Hampshire labor unions representing teamsters, electrical workers, teachers, fire fighters and state employees, as well as the League of Conservation Voters and GIFFORDS.
