Nearly $250,000 Raised at Mack PAC's First Big Night
Albert Mack said after his primary loss that he wasn't going anywhere. Last week, he proved it.
Mack hosted the first big event for his new PAC at the Summit Club in Summerlin. Nearly 80 supporters packed the room. Governor Joe Lombardo was there as the featured guest.
That's not a courtesy visit. That's a governor putting his own name behind a first-time PAC's opening night.

By the time it was over, Mack had raised almost $200,000 for the Mack PAC and another $50,000 for Lombardo's reelection.
Then he topped it off by writing a personal check for $250,000 to his own PAC.
Let that sink in. A quarter million dollars of his own money, on top of everything else raised that night.
For a brand-new organization's coming out party, that's not an undercard. That’s a main event.
Just months ago, Mack's own campaign for Clark County Commission District F raised $1.2 million, proving he knows how to bring in real money.
Now he's turning that same fundraising machine loose for other Republicans.
Mack's goals aren't complicated. They're just big:
- Help Lombardo win reelection. - Help Republicans win a majority in the state Senate. - Stop Democrats from grabbing a supermajority in the Assembly.
Every dollar the Mack PAC raises is headed straight at Nevada's battleground legislative races. No spreading it thin. No wasted motion.
“Albert Mack is making a strong, united effort to get our Republican candidates in battleground races the resources and funds they need to win this November,” Lombardo said. “I'm proud to support this work and his continued leadership through the Mack PAC.”
Lombardo didn't mince words about why it mattered to him personally.
He told the crowd these legislative races will decide how much he can actually get done in a second term.
“The Mack PAC is a breath of fresh air for the conservative movement,” said Geroge Harris, GOP candidate for State Senate District 8, who was at the event. “I’m proud to stand with an organization that understands our values and has the courage to fight for them.”
Mack's first campaign introduced him to Nevada Republicans as a candidate.
What he's building now looks a lot more like a political machine.
