WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. -- West Virginia lawmakers highlighted small-business growth, workforce development, health care, infrastructure and economic recruitment as key priorities for the state during a panel Friday at the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce's 90th Annual Meeting and Business Summit.

House Speaker Roger Hanshaw, R-Clay, led the panel, titled "Legislating for Growth: Priorities for a Stronger West Virginia," with Delegates J.B. Akers, R-Kanawha, and David McCormick, R-Kanawha, and state Sens. Mike Oliverio, R-Monongalia, and Tom Takubo, R-Kanawha.
