1A HOUSE RESOLUTION honoring Representative Shane
2    Lindauer.
3Whereas, Representative Shane Lindauer, who was
4    appointed to fill the seat of Governor Mike Braun for House
5    District 63 in 2017, will be leaving the House Chamber for the
6    last time at the end of the 2026 legislative session;
7Whereas, Representative Lindauer received a Bachelor of
8    Science in Industrial Supervision Technology from Indiana
9    State University, as well as a Doctor of Chiropractic and a
10    Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Sciences from Logan
11    College of Chiropractic;
12      Whereas, In addition to his work at the Statehouse,
13    Representative Lindauer operates a small business, is a proud
14    member of the Redemption Christian Church, and is married to

1    his wife Stacy. They live in Jasper with their two sons, Tyler
2    and Colton;
3Whereas, During his nine years of service in the Indiana
4    House of Representatives, Representative Lindauer has served
5    as Chair of the Natural Resources Committee and as a member
6    of the Roads and Transportation Committee;
7Whereas, Throughout his career as a public servant,
8    Representative Lindauer has been an advocate for and
9    supporter of Indiana's small businesses, and he authored new
10    legislation designed to promote local businesses, earning him
11    a Guardian of Small Business award from the National
12    Federation of Independent Business;
13      Whereas, During his time as a state legislator,
14    Representative Lindauer has been a staunch defender of
15    Hoosiers' inalienable constitutional rights;
16Whereas, Prior to his work at the Statehouse, Representative
17    Lindauer served eight years in the Indiana and Missouri Army
18    National Guards, and four years on the Dubois County
19    Council;
20Whereas, Throughout his tenure in the state legislature,
21    Representative Lindauer has upheld a philosophy of integrity,
22    kindness, and honesty; and
23Whereas, Representative Shane Lindauer has served his
24    constituency loyally and faithfully since his election to the
25    Indiana House of Representatives: Therefore,
26Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the
27General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
28      SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives
29    honors Representative Shane Lindauer upon his retirement.
30      SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of
31    Representatives shall transmit a copy of this resolution to
32    Representative Shane Lindauer.
