  A RESOLUTION
  Honoring Case Western Reserve University on its Two
  Hundredth Anniversary.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly     1
of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Case Western Reserve University     2
on the celebration of its Bicentennial, February 7, 2026; and  3
     WHEREAS, Congratulations are certainly in order as Case Western      4
Reserve University marks this landmark anniversary. With an unwavering    5
dedication to educational excellence, the institution has worked  6
diligently to offer students a well-balanced curriculum which seeks to    7
develop their academic and practical skills, and it has earned the        8
gratitude and respect of many satisfied graduates; and  9
     WHEREAS, As Case Western Reserve University continues to forge its   10
path forward, its administration, faculty, staff, students, and alumni    11
can reflect with pride on two hundred years of tradition and  12
prominence. All those associated with this fine institution merit  13
praise for their profound commitment to perpetuate the establishment’s    14
stalwart reputation for excellence; and  15
     WHEREAS, Since 1826, this leading scholastic community has  16
championed ambitious standards and has encouraged the lofty goals of      17
its members, and the remarkable people who currently direct and  18
sustain Case Western Reserve University, not only caring for its  19
physical structure but also initiating and supporting its many  20
edifying works and programs, serve those who attend with vision and       21
vigor. Indeed, they have proven daily that they understand the  22
importance of perpetuating the virtues of the past, even while  23
embracing the ideals of the future; therefore be it  24
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General     25

As Adopted by the Senate
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, salute Case Western  26
Reserve University on its Two Hundredth Anniversary and look to a  27
future that expands upon its record of exemplary education; and be it      28
further  29
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly  30
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Case Western Reserve  31
University.  32
